Founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion, Chloé always helped bringing to the foreground and revealing young talents, allowing them to express their creative and innovative skills.

In the 60’s, Chloé took a group of young designers from the Paris Rive Gauche area under its wing and, thanks to their highly stylish and visionary ideas, the brand experienced its first great commercial successes.

Then great names such as Karl Lagerfeld, Martine Sitbon, Stella McCartney or Phoebe Philo followed one another, keeping the brand’s ultra feminine image alive.

In 2008, Hannah MacGibbon was appointed Creative Director and also became one of Chloé’s great names. She brought in her own creative vision, making it both desirable and sophisticated.

Since June 1st, 2011 Clare Waight Keller is the brand’s new Creative Director.

A reference in the world of women’s ready-to-wear, Chloé is perceived as the emblem of a new fashion: modern, feminine, in the ’Parisian couture’ spirit.
